* "Personal Web Space" is for non-profit use only. If you are
interested in having a business or money-making web site of
any kind, then ask us about "Commercial Web Hosting".
If you haven't already made your web pages, you might want to try an HTML editor. CoffeeCup HTML Editor, HotDog Page Wizard, Splash! Web Author, and Web Scrapbook all got a five cow rating from Tucows. Tucows has entire section for learning HTML.*

Once you are ready to publish you web pages, you will need an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program. FTP enables you to connect to our server, and upload or download files as you please. Bulletproof FTP, CoffeeCup Direct FTP, CuteFTP, and WS-FTP Pro all got five cow ratings as well. You can browse through other FTP applications on the Tucows' FTP page. *

You can search for HTML editors and FTP
programs (as well as all kinds of other programs)*
at these sites that we recommend:

Once you have the FTP program installed, you will need to get on-line. Once you are connected to Q-Express, you will need to start the FTP Program, and connect to our server. The FTP server address is "FTP.Q-EXPRESS.NET", your username and password will be exactly the same as they are for dialing up. Once you're in, you can pload and download as you please. Most FTP programs are capable of "drag and drop," so you will be able to simply select the directory you want, and move the file the same way you do in Windows Explorer.

* Although Q-Express may reccommend certain download sites or
programs, we do not offer technical support for "third party software"
(Anything other than versions of Windows, and Microsoft or Netscape
Browsers, E-mail, and News)
